I am very much drawn to Florian Satzinger's drawing style. The simplicity and contrasting shapes of his characters are just so appealing and awesome. So I tried drawing one of my own characters, mixing a bit of Satzinger flair.

I should probably introduce you to Keel here. A space gator that loves to play. He'll be a reoccurring subject from time to time, and will be official mascot and spokesgator to this blog. Say hello!

I also have a few other lovely interpretations of him by the very gifted L. Frostad. I highly suggest you follow her blog. IMMENSELY!

Wasn't too motivated to do a lot of these today.

Some much needed life drawing practice warm-ups. Made little "Stephen Silver" notes to chastise me.

A little background I drew up for some visual development.

Self Portayal

A little caricature self-portrait drawn on a Saturday Afternoon.

Only the Beginning!

Well here it is. Nothing much going on at the moment. But it will start when it starts. But first, gotta give this place a nice theme I can call my own.
